September 2004, Lynn after 25 years of estate agency experience both in Liverpool and London took over Southport Property Shop and became the first female branded Southport estate agent.

Along with Tina Morris, Lynn opened the doors as Lynn Thompson Estate Agents and tripled the properties available for sale. Hard work and word of mouth took the Estate Agents to another level…

The opportunity for expansion came and Lynn took the chance. The decision was made to purchase the Letting Agency next door making way for not only an additional business but more space!  Another family member comes on board; Guy Thompson, Lynn’s stepson becomes Lettings Manager taking over from the previous Manager Mr. M. Williams.

Autumn 2006 saw the introduction of Lynn Thompson Foreign Estates dealing with overseas property.

Lynne Deary continues to look after all residential flat management becoming a popular figure with clients. Number of staff increases to six!

Despite a slowing down of the housing market business remained steady and the Lettings side continued to grow based on hard work and reputation. 

Further expansion, with the opening of Waterloo Office, dealing primarily with Lettings and bringing yet another family member into the ‘Firm’.  Oliver Thompson takes over as Lettings Manager at Waterloo.

The housing market continued to plummet unfortunately seeing the closure of three Estate Agents in Southport. We were lucky enough to have a thriving lettings business and block management department to keep the business strong and a continuous flow of clients calling into the office kept us busy. The three departments have their own dedicated staff ensuring concentration on their own specialist fields.
